Weird banana biscuits

I sort of developed a thing for baking at the end of last year. I think perhaps it's because I love cake (yep it's slightly obvious) and I love bread! The pictures above are some of the cakes, biscuits and bread (and Alpen flapjacks) I've baked over the last couple of months. Yes they have a lot of food colouring on and in them but that's mainly because I get carried away. I really want to perfect them and make really pretty cupcakes as well, so I'll never have to buy a birthday cake (or any cake for that matter) again. I've even started to collect various baking apparatus, incuding various sized baking tins, a colling rack etc - I'm really going for this! I'm hoping to develop a portfolio of my exploits by the end of the year and hopefully I will be transformed into a talented amateur baker by then.

Once I've perfected the basics of baking simple cakes. loaves of bread and biscuits, I'll play around a bit and come up with some even tastier stuff - yum! Two of my housemates will be having birthdays soon so I'll be, once again, kept busy with baking very very soon.
