And there it is
That moment that you realise that you've fallen.
And as much as you want to you just can't get up.
You put all your effort into doing so but you just can't
You know that you may never get up.
Nothing makes sense anymore
Life is no longer straight forward
You no longer feel as complete alone
You are no longer yourself.
Your knees are weak;
Arms bruised;
Head hurts.
And you just can't see.
All you know now is that you'd rather fall
Than to not have fallen at all.
This feeling is amazing.
Time has no significance.
You seek solace from an embrace
Consisting of incalculable pulsations and sharp intakes of breaths
And in moments of blissful ignorance
You know that you have been saved
For you have not fallen alone;
They have fallen with you.

This is the first poem I've written in a while. What it's about is quite obvious but I wasn't actually inspired by personal experience whatsoever. Random lines randomly pop into my head when it comes to poetry and I guess I just some together expanded on it and thought perhaps this is what it would kind of feel like. Perhaps...
