I remember watching this about 2 years ago and being struck by two things. Firstly, the title. 'Protect me from what I want', plays with the idea that what one may want may not be actually good for you or is it?
The second was the end scene - where Daz calls after Saleem to turn around as he storms off. I think it perfectly represented the dichotomy between Daz clearly looking for something meaningful and Saleem exploring his sexuality which conflicts with his religion.
The randomly encountered each other in an alley, which typically isn't the safest place to meet each other and the fact that Saleem went straight over to Daz's, again wasn't a great choice. But I am looking a the greater picture of what this represents - sexual exploration, confusion/conflict, longing and love.
Both links show the same video - but I thought I should both up in case either get taken down.
**Warning**
The following scenes contains scenes of a strong sexual nature.
